New corporate partners
"The Good Guys doing good"
The Good Guys electrical retailers have partnered with United Way nationally to connect each of their 72 stores with local community organisations in need. Each store will donate 20c from every transaction, which is invested in a local community project by United Way. Stores will also run fund raising events through the year, whilst encouraging customers and staff to also make a donation.
This is the first of its kind in Australia, and the community investment is expected to reach $750,000 for the first 12 months, once all stores are participating.
Over $160,000 has already been raised, to support a range of grassroots projects that help improve the lives of those in need.
This is an exciting opportunity for United Way and we are proud to be The Good Guys national community partner on this ground breaking initiative.

KPMG's management shares our commitment to improving the lives of those in need in local communities and have asked us to help bring their "KPMG in Your Community" alive in each office. Our partnership includes Workplace Giving around the country and providing volunteering opportunities for staff.

Stockland has a strong commitment to being a sustainable organisation and reducing their environmental footprint. They have now extended their efforts to include making a difference in the communities in which they have a presence. United Way is an ideal partner for them because of our national reach and range of community engagement activities.
