United Way Melbourne is one of over 4,000 United Way organisations around the world. United Way organisations are community based, and our work is carried out at community level.

We are united by one essential, universal idea - that members of a community can come together voluntarily, pool their resources and knowledge, and work together to address their most compelling human needs.

United Way Melbourne aims to improve the lives of those people in need in Melbourne. We do this by investing donations and volunteer time into grassroots community projects

Our resources are raised from our Corporate Community Involvement programs (CCI) that include:

• Workplace Giving
• Corporate Connect volunteering
• Seeing is Believing education programs

We have no religious or political affiliations. Our national United Way network gives us the capacity and capability of developing national CCI programs that "think nationally but engage locally"
